1.) Everyone knows that Saddam had doubleganger.
2.) Everyone suspects strongly that the US governement lied about the facts they presented to justify their war.

...and now everyone cheers when the US they they have caught Saddam.

Hmm.

  • in the light of your point of view it makes sense that they violate the geneva convention (no pics of prisoners of war) eventhough it recently had been an issue (earlier in the war)

if you can present images it's easy to talk about dna.testing and scar.comparison
    • i'm sorry but once more i have to refer to Baudrillard (a cynical bastard!)

in yesterdays saddam-coverage i saw a biopic about the mans life. it presented also the men that inspired saddam to be such a stereotype dictator.
The point of the story was that two men inspired him: jozef stalin and Vito Corleone! The godfather! Marlon Brando! Not only is it hilarious that a moviecharacter should inspire Sadams actions (ban those movies!) < Baudrillard: what's is the referent and what is being refered to? Its also funny that Vito Corleone says in the first part of the saga: I believe in America. WTF
