This weekend I did some professional photos with a photographer in town.
We were taking some shots at some sort of a construction site,
when I looked to my left and saw *drumroll* A DISCARDED GAS CAN.

Thanks to a friendly photographer, I was able to take some carpark shots...
he will be sending them to me tonight.
After five minutes of Carpark poses, he asked 'Where are you getting these?
Why are you standing like that, it's fabulous, its so 'original grunge'. Where
did this come from?'
I replied:
'Man. Thats fuckin' Carpark.'

CARPARKING CARPARKERS!!!!!

SO.
Last night I did a favor for a friend and slept at her
house so she could go out and be in the White Cowbell
Oklahoma show. So fine.
This morning she comes in and I get into my car to find
that someone has stolen my MP3 player out of the glove
compartment.....but left the earphones neatly curled up on
my passenger seat. WTF?

But even more bizarre: There was a case of cds in there too....
I had thought all the doors were locked but apparently one in the
back was not.....

AND THE ONLY CD THEY STOLE WAS CARPARK!
WTF?
Looks like people will do whatever it takes to get some CP.....

Having been raised on KD and ichiban, and having plenty stories of my parents getting drunk while my friends and I dirt biked all over the hillside I feel that it was only natural to join carpark.
As an initial contribution and effort to actually put in an effort I've compiled a bunch of short shitty mixes I've made over the years. Some of them may not fit into the carpark scheme but perhaps they may inspire yall to not listen to this sort of musix. Some of it's old and some I have yet to put there yet... but enjoy.

This is my first post here and it's not all about lubing...

I have drove 700km to see carpark TM last weekend, spent 120$ on gas, 27$ on oil, 2$ on windshield fluid and an unestimated amount in road wear. I was expecting some burnin' rubber, kids, and some f**king topless girls!

All those sexy ones going up on the stage, posing for the crowd should remove their freakin’ shirts and make carpark TM, as an event - I have much respect for AA's music - something worth taking about. Hey, I hear this is a revolution. So cool, bla, bla, bla. Come on…

Maybe some of you will be offended by these words and will want to reply To those I say: don't waste your precious time. You don't even know what carpark TM is. You know what? Don't even reply to this thread if it is not to promise some flying t-shirt action at the next carpark TM activity.

You know who you are, and there is a piece of every

to reflect on this beautiful thing we have created together.

One day down the road, after the shows have filled to
brimming with puffy jackets and baseball caps, and I'm
all coked-out, in and out of rehab and doing Oprah in
between (the show; not the woman). Before the law
suits and indictments, the accusations of insider
trading, and federal inquiries into the Haliburton
no bid contracts. We will be able to look back at this
time with fondness, and remember how we were all
a part of co-creating something so new and fresh and

Some of these ain't half bad. It sounds a lot like electro to me. It really just makes you sound elitist trying to invent a name of a genre. It is like you think noboby else is doing that style. In reality, the electro sound is all the rage right now. Good music is good music no matter what you call it.

There is a certain formula that carpark follows, and it is live PA>>.so it IS kinda it's own subgenre...and you are right ..it IS a form of electro breaks/house...PLus all the kids come dressed in funny skid hats and plaid shirts to the shows...It's like a giant tailgate party!

If dj Hoola says Matt invented his own genre, and i think it is it's own genre, and 100 other kids say it is it's own genre here, how is that elitist>>???

Jorma's kid who is 4 can tell the diff between carpark tracks and other electro/prog tracks, which i find amusing.

It's fun music and a fun event. You guys should come up n siphon some gas with us ;)

then i thought of l.v.r.'s little car park. which is all grimmy and beautiful. and selkirk college rosemont campus...

So I'm going to Japan!

I have two months to put together 3 grand to go to Japan for three weeks with the Aikido Club.....the primary focus of the tour is to train extensively in the non-combative martial art of Aikido while being completely emersed in the culture of its inception....

I hear that CAR PARK induces SINGING and DANCING and LAUGHING and perhpaps....just perhaps....a slight...very slight case of the PARTY! YEAH PARTY!

I NEED YOUR HELP CLAN OF THE CAR PARK PARTY!

I was wondering if I could take care of those nasty....smelly....space consuming...EMPTIES that seem to reproduce so rapidly during an evening...exenteded evening....and/or next day party....hehehe....!

Hell...I'll even take in some other recycling for yah......if there's room in the silver bullet......(the van that can)...
