I am trying my best to print and review things before I get there so I can at least decide on a few things I really would like to see. I know I cant see everything, but it is nice to preview some things while I have the time. Do they hand out a daily event schedule and a map of where camps are located? I tried to print a schedule from "playa calendar" but the site is slow and wayyyyy too many events. It would be awesome if I could print stuff to read on the plane. I just printed a music lineup someone did, great!!!!
Basically, my question is what do we get at the greeters gate, if anything at all?

Re: Map & event schedule at check in?
Fri, August 22, 2008 - 7:04 PMYou'll be issued a What?Where? When? guide at the greeters' station that will include a listing of events through out the week. In addition, a map is included that contains a list of listed theme camps. -

Re: Map & event schedule at check in?
Fri, August 22, 2008 - 8:15 PMA guy I know that went last year said they didn't get anything when they went. Said there is no way to know or plan it, you just figure it out. Is it possible he really had no idea about this guide? I thought it seemed weird when he told me. It would take a few hours to print out the schedule for each day on my little laser jet printer at home! ha ha! -

Re: Map & event schedule at check in?
Fri, August 22, 2008 - 9:57 PMHe may not have received one at the greeters' station. I've had that happen a couple of times, so if you don't get one, ask.
For myself, I don't bother to read the schedule guide, as there tends to be plenty of random stuff that happens during the week that isn't scheduled.

Re: Map & event schedule at check in?
Sat, August 23, 2008 - 4:28 PMThe one you get was printed a week or two ago.. and events are added to the schedule online up until the event. So, there are things on the online schedule that are NOT in the printed guide.....
if you spot an event online, write it down... otherwise, just go with the flow.
