I understand now. I work for an outfit full of engineers and I am aware of the costs of materials and how those costs rise. At one point a couple of years ago, cost for materials like steel and concrete went up 1% a month. It is hard to calculate estimates a year or two out in that type of situation. Unless artists acquire their materials by recycling, they have to buy it somewhere.
