Any geminis have a scorpio ascendant? If so, does it seem you're a bit more intense than the average gem? What's it like? Contradictions?

Sat, June 16, 2007 - 4:04 PMLol, Yeah, it seems the scorpio ascendant intensifies our gemini sun even more, makes us EXTREMELY good, or bad. I can definitely say I have a very good side, and an evil side *evil laugh*. But what's even crazier about it, is that I have pluto conjunct a scorpio ascendant, which makes me twice as scorpio as I would be with just the ascendant there.

Yah I am a gemini With a Scorpio Rising. I am pretty intense..I also have my mars in scorp .. which makes it even more intense. Intense in business, friends, sports, etc.. it gets pretty crazy! -

I would say, maybe, a contradiction.but,it also may be, scorpio energy within the chart is distributed different than it being your sun sign.

Thu, December 13, 2007 - 8:59 AMwell that is your OPINION Nikkie and you are entitled to it...it's obvious though that you have a negative perception when it comes to scorpios...perhaps you have had a bad experience..nonetheless, i agree they might be calculating and selfish sometimes however me personally, i think that intensity is a suitable word for scorpios in general of course...jelousy, posessiveness, intellingence, perseverence, generous, are just a few words to describe a scorpio...to say that they completely lack substance is unfair and closed...

plus my sun, mars, mercury and chrion are all in the 8th house, house of scorpio.
I can be qutie intense on the inside. But i use my sun-sign gemini-ness to carefully control and conceal it. I can be very dual-natured though which i feel is intensified beyond non-scorp rising gems. All that emotional scorpio intensity mixed with the airy froth of gemini mixes well i think. But can be combustible too. -

Mon, February 11, 2008 - 10:12 AMI was told that Scorpio as my ascendant would also make me more settled, more faitfull as plain gemini sign would. I never really agreed with that fact that I would be jumping from one flower to another just to keep my gemini side interested. I have always been faithfull to my partners, yes I flirt (my gemini part will do it .. ;) ) but I would never go further than that. Maybe it is a scorpio that ishaving an influence on it or maybe my venus that is in taurus. -

Thu, October 23, 2008 - 10:48 PMI just checked my chart again and was suprised to find that I also have a scorpio ascendant. This kinda suprised me because I have a very hard time with scorpios in general. Both of my partner's parents are scorpios and I can count my scorpio friends on one hand. Then I looked into my chart a little more and found scorpio is in Mars and Saturn as well as being ascendant. Yikes!
As far as intensity goes, I find that the scorpio in my chart does precisely what its supposed to do in each spot, I don't really want to go into the specifics. I do find myself to be a more outgoing gem then many other gems, but I feel like my intensity is simply directed in different directions.
And so thats where I stand...

It feels really confusing to have such conflicting signs going on, especially when being a Gemini makes me have plenty of confusion going on inside anyway. Being married to a Scorpio has really amplified my Scorpio side. Compared to my Gemini friends, I am more prone to: see rather than be seen, be more reserved socially, have more pissed-off days, have more intense conversations, harbor hard feelings longer, and be a bit too excited about revenge for perceived wrong-doings (luckily, I know how to control myself!). But, I am still a full-on Gemini, as my Scorpio husband can exasperatedly attest to. -
