Astrology amazes me time and time again. This one strikes home. I'm basically a shy one. I'd rather be alone but not alone on a stage in front of hundreds of people. My fear of being on stage was so bad, I worked hard to be on stage on a regular basis until my stagefright up and disappeared.

At parties I was sitting and even with family I stayed in the room watching tv
Boyfriends where out of the question because even when they did like me I found it hard to respond.
My only regret is that I didnt get the exposure to all the wonderful things in life sooner .. its only been this way the last 6years of my life
(Im 36 now)..
I enjoy meeting people and learning ....
like to socialize more but still need my quiet time which is ok..
generally Im happier now, I am more involved ,and I can be myself.

Fri, August 17, 2007 - 11:50 AMAt big family get-togethers, and we had a huge family, I would run off to hide somewhere. Usually in the barn. That's where they would look first. One time, I climbed the pine tree just outside the front door. It was very windy that day. At the top of the tree, my guess is that I was moving at least one meter to and fro and I could see and hear all of what was going on below me. They looked in the barn. They looked in the wood shack. They looked in the garden....they looked everywhere .....except up....until my lil sister found me. "There he is!" Dad asked me why I hid in the tree. I told him "I don't like crowds." It was a fairly tall tree. I was fairly young. I believe Dad understood that personal trait right away, that day. Today, he reflects back on that day and tries to understand why I decided to stay in Europe. Funny, I've never seen it as clearly as he has. Not by a long way. Dad is number 13 from 13. With that many siblings, you learn a bit about human nature.....just by growing up. -

grew up in the city but I love the outdoors...I feel peaceful there.
Thats great about your dad..my family(Dad, MoM and sis)are all pretty extraverted and could not relate to me at all.
they both came from families of six siblings but that didnt help at all......lol

Depending on the sign any given planet is in, a 12th House Sun, in particular, will react slightly differently to the 12th House environ. I,
too, have a 12th House Sun...and a 12th House Moon, and a 12th House Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Uranus. All but the last planet are in
Leo. Leos react differently to the 12th House Shadow, than say Geminis. But the bottom line is: because the 12th House creates that Shadow aspect, or tends to 'cover' or hide things, issues, habits, talents, desires, etc., a Gemini might not be as adversely affected by the action of the 12th House as a Leo would. One of the reasons for this is because Leos are generally very invested in knowing that they and their abilities, etc., are acceptable to others. When in the 12th House, Leos tend to be shy because they're afraid of failure and looking bad in front of that wonderful audience they really would like to impress. (Yes, I'm outting myself here, lol.)
Do 12th House Sun Leos go out on stage? Yes, they do. I know this for a fact because I was a musician/singer when I was younger and did perform. BUT, I am so absolutely shy about singing alone that the only way I'll do it is if I'm singing with someone else. I just can't sing by myself, even though on the rare occasions when I have, I've been told that I'm really good (seriously). I can crack and break and be out of tune if I'm singing with another, and do fine. But goddess forbid if I should be flat or break a string or just be plain BAD on my own. I can't handle it. lol... But what's really ironic about this is that I CAN talk in front of groups of people. I've done it many times and haven't had a problem. A little nervousness maybe, but as long as I know my material, I'm fine. Singing and playing any of the several instruments I play in front of others... fuggetaboutit! :-)
And what about Geminis? A Gemini Sun in the 12th House generally tends to cause the Gemini -- who LOVES to talk! -- to not be nearly as talkative as s/he normally is. You may hide things about yourself, your past, your emotions, etc. You may prefer to be by yourself, rather than with others, a most UN-Gemini-like thing to do. The 12th House hides the natural ebullence of the Gemini brightness. This is a challenge for you, because subconsciously you really want to be with others (deep down), to communicate, to associate...but you also want to be alone. Such a quandry.....

I took this motto with me to day, a most important day, and I passed a test with flying colours. It could have easily went the other way. In the middle of the test, actually on the German Autobahn at a speed of 130Kmh, I found myself smiling.
As usual, by touching on the 12th house here, not know anything at all about it prior, I've touched on something bigger than expected and I doubt I'll forget it after these past few days...and today's test.

I'm pretty shy infront of the right people, but after a while I realize any old person doesn't matter to me so I end up saying whatever I want. (..& my moon is in scorp.) I resent having my sun in my twelth house. Who wouldn't?
Your 12th house is your house of secrets. I've come to find you keep things about your actual self (sun sign; ego) a secret. why? i've yet to find out.
