in the ATL we have a small chain of sushi restaurants with a party atmosphere--electronic music, weird selections (peanut sushi, anyone?), staff that hoots and hollers and literally takes sake shots with the patrons, sake martinis...good times.
Does Cincinnati have anything like that? Sushi that isn't stuffy?

Sun, September 16, 2007 - 6:54 PMSake Bomb, in Hyde Park.
Signature drink (sake bomb) regularly causes a commotion. Fun place to watch a game and have great sushi. -

Mon, September 17, 2007 - 9:24 AMI went to a sushi place in Richmond, VA that served little metal buckets of tater tots. Maybe if we had something like that around here I could get my boyfriend to take me out for sushi more often.
I second Sake Bomb.

Mon, February 4, 2008 - 10:34 PMDancing Wasabi is pretty casual sushi, but I don't think it's as rambunctious as what you're describing.
Tasty rolls and nigiri, but the times I've went, I've been less than impressed with the service.

I haven't had sushi since I moved out here from NorCal.
