Thanks Helen, and tipping KJ's has been a discussion amongst our SKS karoake singing group. Not sure how we all feel about it but in general we agree we should take up a collection and tip as a group. Not into the bribe thing and I admire Gordon's acknowledge philosophy the tipping is not required to be put in the rotation. I enjoy the Ballroom atmosphere. Hope to com in and sing when you take the helm sometime. In fact I think you know a couple of us, Brooker, our organizer (www.meetup.com organizer), and Travis mentioned he knows you as well. Thanks for the info though, may wait on checking out that place then.

oh, and i tip, too, just after i sing, not before. and having hosted, i much preferred being tipped at the end of the night than during the rotation. then i actually have time to thank people.
