...was really awesome. yeah, trent was sick, one time even coughing in a way which you could tell he was pained, but he showed enormous devotion to the cause by not flaking, proving further that he is bottomlessly loyal to his fanbase.

gary numan owned it- he did a great job with metal and with cars. his voice is just as powerful as ever, just as expressive.

the downward spiral was played (as was in new york) entirely, i would have preferred something like year zero in full, or broken, PHM- just because i listened so much to TDS when it came out, and for years. but, i get that it's an awesome thing, and i do support it.

the hand that feeds wasn't nearly as exciting as usual, likely due to trent's sickness and that taking it's toll on his energy. the show was a great show, but not the best nin i've seen.

MEtal is amazing, lve. it's just kick ass....

i was front and center in the pit (well, 3 heads back) & sat in the sidewalk line for 5 hours (after one hour standing in the wristband line) to be there- but damn, palladium pits are always the roughest. it took it's toll fast and i had to scoot back a little, we were all getting ruined up there.

a good friend recorded the whole show in high def on a KILLER camera. he should be putting it online soon, i'll post a link if any of you want to watch.

there was no encore & that was sad, as i don't think i've ever seen nin skip an encore- but the fact that he played as sick as he was is just so credible. it was a very successful show, regardless of the sickness, and i feel lucky to have been there.
