Sat, November 26, 2005 - 1:38 PMEverybody who ever loved science-fiction should read MARTIAN, GO HOME by the great Fredric Brown. -

Re: Lord!
Tue, November 29, 2005 - 2:06 PMI first read this book when I was eleven years old. I laughed my ass off. They made a really bad movie some years back based very loosely on it, but don't let that put you off the book. Fredric Brown was the master of the short-short story, and packed a lot of fun into this rather short novel.

I love horror, fantasy and some sci fi
One of my favourite books comes to mind. It's called Grendel by John Gardner and is a retelling of the Beowulf legend by the monster's perspective. I've read and re-read this book many times. I also love the old ones like Lovecraft's novels. I'm also a Hellraiser fan.
