I am looking for a good, portable digital recording "studio" to give as a gift to an old-time band that wants to start recording. They are not dummies. One of them has recorded (mixed) music before as a profession (but that was back in the days of DAT).
Can you recommend something? Someone who also has a band suggested the Boss digital studio BR-532, but I wanted to bounce that idea off of you all first. My friend's band combines electric and acoustic, but the band I am looking buy a gift for is all-acoustic.
Thanks!

Fri, March 9, 2007 - 12:23 PMTry checking out taperssection.com and see if ya find the info your after or post on the forum and check out how much the folks know over there. Good luck and I might suggest the r4 by Roland(4 track) but am not sure how ya plan to record.
