Chad, Peacock others.......
What fest support is needed now?

I expect people should look for some extra plates and cups for the kitchen?
Maybe watch for a yardsale for some pots, cups and plates..........

Is there any thing else that jumps out as a needed support?

Pre fest donations maybe?

love ya all, see ya there
peace,

if we could magicly turn up a 4,000 watt power amp for some big speakers we can avoid the cost of hiring professional sound guys ($1,500). We also need some stage lighting. The guys who did it last year will be at a party I'll be at in an hour so I'll hit 'em up and see if that'll come together again. If anyone has battery powered x-mas lights for the roofs of the porta potties and the river crossings (which have sturdy new bridges) that'd be great. The kitchen would love heavy bottomed large capacity pots, and chafing pans are always usefull. The menu has yet to be determined and so grocery donations can be posted soonish....make suggestions if you got a bunch of something.

okay, we got the lighting nailed down. One thing that helps for any need is cash. Pre-fest donations can be made through paypal to chadbutler@bhumsiva.com
Robert Kelly has been the first to utilize this option this year, and his donation appropriately will provide power for the stage and kitchen through the rental of a biodiesel generator- thanks Robert! Also thanks to Dawn for an early donation that got forwarded to Doonooch Dance Troupe to help cover their airfares from Australia to come join us and share traditional song, dance, wisdom and inspiration. Keep it coming and FEEL THE MAGIC!

the lights and sound are nailed down. I was able to get someone to provide sound (and sound equiptment) for the bargain price of $350 for the whole weekend, so find the soundman and love 'em up.
