although didge socks are great for keeping the finish neat when getting bungered around the house i was wondering what the going opinion is for a good travel bag for curved bells? Something that would pass through the airport is the partial goal although i was trying to avoid a hard case to avoid having to hulk big plastic box around. Didgeridoo breath?

Re: Good didge bags? anyone?
Fri, September 25, 2009 - 9:56 AMI think some of the best didge bags out there are actually made for skis and snowboards. There are soft bags in which you'll have to wrap your didges in plenty of bubble wrap, and there are also telescoping hard cases. These ski cases are generally more generous in sizing than any didge bags I've seen. On tour with Ondrej we usually have three or four didges stuffed into a single ski bag. Ski bags ar probably priced at less than half of what decent didge bags go for too, and airlines are used to seeing them and treating them with at least a little respect. -

Wed, September 30, 2009 - 10:41 PMYes they do! ski bags are awesome didge bags. Play it again sports usually has at least a few of them for dirt cheap ( cheaper than you could make a similar unit). I got a neat one with straps inside that keep poles and skis ( or two didges) seperated.
