It's been quite a couple of days and I just wanted to check in with everyone and see how you faired with the weather. Looks like a lot of us in the Oregon/Washington area got creamed. Hope you're doing alright out there.

Fri, December 7, 2007 - 3:03 PMI was spared. My place sits in a protected little valley. My sister wasn't so lucky though, her business went completely underwater in Chehalis Wa., her neighbor lost 600 head of cattle- all drowned, some of the dead cows are now stuck in the rafters of their barn. She says all the dead rotting bodies are worse than the sludge that covers everything.

Fri, December 7, 2007 - 4:37 PMYes, we did get hit with quite a storm!! All is good here. I am glad that I was not at the coast, although I imagine it must have been quite spectacular. That is one nice thing about inclement weather, it gives us an excuse to stay indoors and play the didge :-) -
