The clip was from "Top Gear" a rev head show (which is actually very entertaining). The have a sense of humour - but don't really do spoofs.. The funniest one is that they run a celebrity time trial over a race trace and some celebrity was particularity slow. An ex-army guy wrote in and swore he could beat the time. .even though he was blind.. so they put him in a car .. with a co-driver yelling "hard left" .. "soft right" and such.. and the blind guy beat the time :)
I would say they thought is was a funny idea.. but that it went a bit beyond the pale with the locals.. and they were a bit shocked over it.. it did make the show though..
