It would actually be very easy since all one needs to do is utter trite new age platitudes to get an audience. A few years ago a charlatan named J.Z. Knight charged a couple thousand dollars so people could see a poor ventriloquism act. (claiming to channel a spirit named Ramtha) before that Uri Geller used magician tricks to convince naive audiences that he could bend spoons with mind power.

it is delightful to watch Geller squirm when he discovers the props were not set up in the usual pre arranged manner by his staff.
