We tend to pick on the Christian, since they are the predominate religion. It's hard to remember that there are others out there doing far more to hold the human race back than Christians. I speak of Muslim Fundies. Sure, they're in the papers, strapping themsleves to bombs and blowing people into a paste of blood, brains and body parts, even their own kind. But it doesn't bother us as much bc they're not doing it in our nieghborhood, our schools.
Thier brand of fundie is far more menacing, even if you discount thier propensity for great violence and cruely. Sharia law? Heeyok, what a joke. lets, for shits and grins, make a list of stupid shit they expect you to do or not do.

To be fair, I think if we gave Christians a chance, they could be every bit as evil and violent in pursuit of their nonsensical beliefs as muslims. There's just too many secular people in the USA to get away with it.
