Guadua Angustafolia

Any guadua farmers here? I have about 4 hectares dedicated solely to Guadua Angustafolia. Anyone have experience growing, and curing, guadua poles?

    I just met a man in my town of asheville who makes the most amazing bamboo instruments i have ever seen. he says the secret to curing bamboo is to simply leave them in the grove in which they were cut. They cure slow (4-6 months) but the result is a strong and non-splitting bamboo stalk.
