Here's the deal. I have a friend. I will be visiting this friend. He is married. His wife is actually okay with the "visit," but the rules she has set include (a) no overnight stay together, and no fucking in their house (fair enough.)I will be staying with my folks in their spare room, and let me tell you, that would not be very erotic ("honey, when you are your little friend are done, there's milk and cookies."). We're both grown-ups with credit cards, so we can afford a hotel, but we're not rich grown-ups, so the idea is . . .

Do non-icky by-the-hour "love hotels" exist in the San Francisco area? How about charmingly icky ones? This is someone I like and only get to see once a year or so, so I want to have a few hours to really have fun, not just a quick grope in a parked car or peep-show booth.

I would probably rather just pay for a modestly priced motel and then check out after a few hours after we'd done our filty business than go somewhere gross . . . but somewhere sort of tacky and Japanese love hotel-style kitschy would be cool.

Sadly, BDSM friendly doesn't need to be a factor, as he doesn't swing that way.
