At the moment I believe the base was a 6 sided quartz cylinder and on top of this 6 sided cylinder was a 6 sided prism made of a particular stone. As for the type of stone used it could be, pyrite, lapis lazuli, azurite or maybe even salt crystal. In one of the readings Cayce mentions the crystal as opalescent which i guess would mean it changed colors a lot while functioning and emitting a bright white light. I would like to mention that the philosopher stone is also considered the firestone and it was firstly a white powder and then when worked it becomes a red stone. What is interesting is that in order to make the white powder you must use salt. It is like salt is the catalyst for all this work so i would recommend salt as being the stone. Salt acts as an ionizer when light pases through it and a dense field of ions is a plasma. According to John Worrel Keely plasma is just below aether so i would suggest hat salt also condenses the aether.

I'm partial to the Atlantis stuff because it ties into theories of early earth civilizations, egypt, mythology, shared genetic and linguistic roots, and scripture interpretation. I find that must of it gels very well with the Rosecrucian beliefs. I recall that when once asked if the "Great White Brotherhood" was involved in his readings, Cayce responded, "There is an influence." Does anyone know anything else about this? The brotherhood is made up of ascended masters and the like...though no one seems to agree on who's on it...

I'm fascinated that Cayce predicted that there was a chamber under the left foot of the Sphinx where the Atlanteans left information about their society. According to this documentary I watched this guy discovered it and to this day they haven't explored it further. I am curious beyond belief. And there's always the causeway off the coast of Bimini.

Unfortunately, I have no knowledge of Tesla or trephening but you dig up the coolest stuff, Nathaniel :)

I have to rant .... I'm struggling with Christianity again. I thought I was coming to terms with it through Cayce but last Sunday in church they did a "guilt sermon" and THAT angers me every time. My experience is that church guilt sermons range from tithing to divorce to being prompt!!!!

And now I look at the verses regarding Jesus teaching on divorce ... Mark 10:11-12, Luke 16:18 & Matthew 5:31-32. Having divorced a year-and-a-half ago, I know I didn't realize why I was getting married - it wasn't for the right reasons. We were drawn together mostly due to our problems each of us had. Once those became evident enduring the divorce was the only option other than us killing one another. Believe me, we tried staying together for our son, we tried lots of counseling with an awesome counselor (he's not your run of the mill "advice counselor" by far) so we did what needed to be done for our own individual healing and growth. Sure I wish we never would've gone down the whole road in the first place but hey I'm human, I make mistakes and I learn from them.

Okay, where do I go with this ... my first thought is the verses I referenced seem like an unrealistic point of view because people marry people they shouldn't have married or they marry when they aren't emotionally healthy enough or whatever - it's a fact.

I could also say Jesus was teaching an ideal which men should try to live up to and some of us can't do it right the first few times around. We screw up, we're forgiven. Maybe it could be as simple as that. Maybe it is that? That's how it is with everything else. Churches, however, love to harp on the divorce thing.

<sigh> Matthew 5:32 sounds so ridiculous to me.

Any Cacye input on this? I've not read any.

It doesn't help that I haven't slept tonight. Er, um, this morning ... whatever. I'm tired!

I recently read that before Edison and Tesla went their separate ways, they both recieved readings from Edgar Cayce. This was early in all their careers and the transcripts and other notes were mostly lost and destroyed, with a few exceptions. I have studied Cayce for years and knew of the Edison connection, but does anyone into Telsa have any knowledge of this as well? Apparently Tesla wanted to investigate the connection between electricity and psychic functioning, while Edison did not particularly believe in "the soul" and thus the split. Cayce reportedly even described devices that could be built to detect as yet unknown forms of energy--some of which we now know as FM and Radio waves. In this way, Cayce may be partly responsible for developing some of the greatest technoligies of the past century. Any help on this Edison/Tesla connection would be greatly appreciated.

I recently read that Edgar, as a youth, suffered a brain injury. While walking, he fell and a nail penetrated his cranium, perhaps even into the brain cavity. This immediately reminded me of the ancient practice of trephening (I hope I spelled that right), or putting a hole in someone's head, usually to release an evil spirit, but also to open one to God in some Shamanic traditions. From a biological standpoint, this sort of injury allows more air into the brain and results in faster oxygenation and higher functioning. Some feel that it also instigates a reaction by the pituitary and/or pineal glands, which in chakric lore, represent and are related to the highest spiritual functioning and psychic ability. This practice has always fascinated me and I was amazed and somewhat glad to hear that Edgar had undergone it in a round-about fashion. Any thoughts on this?
