Thu, July 10, 2008 - 7:39 AMDjabs are house spirits and out side spirits..they are not saints or lwa;s..they are spirits that work good or bad on your call...they say that they are faster workers then above..due to the light u give them...Djabs are like free agents..;-) Accountable to no one, they serve those who serve them...some Djabs are spirits connected to a particulas family or societe...often they are passed down from generation to generation. Djabs are some what also spirit guards....some we are born with ..some are spirits used from the elements we call on...like lets say ...hummm? the spirit of the woods...(PLEASE!!) there are many of those..there is not just one...or lets say..the spirits of the waters..or spirits from the caves...and so on.....as u work with lwa's and anything in the spirit path...there is Djabs...those are spirit that come to help u in ur working with that lwa or saint or just on what ur asking.but one must always remember..there good ones and there is bad ones...lets say..u want to do something in the cross roads..most of us know the owners ,,saint and lwa,,but there are many Djabs there that are evil..just waiting to cross over..or say any pl;ace...when we do things that are spiritual ..one must know what their doing because u can be lucky this time with working with a Djab..but if u really dont know how to control them...they can turn on u...so...Remember...there is good and bad Djab's they come on your calling...and do as u ask when payed for.....i wish i could explain it better...but yes!! these are spirits that are around us always good and bad...

Besides, Djabs, are most seen as evil, because of their nature, which is fierce. And they are most of the time associated with Bacas, that are some evil creatures used to perform magic, even if the intention is good. -

Wed, July 16, 2008 - 10:08 AMI don´t really know how you identify djabs, because that´s a name used for strong loas, that represent elemental forces of nature very, very strong, like thunderbolt, lighning, fierce, earthquakes, storms, and things like that. So they are not usually seen as "good loas" because the havoc they can make. So i can´t hardly say they are bad, or that you are wrong in your point. Only, my opinion, that I DON´T use them, because here in DR they are considered the highest point of a petro lwa, and besides seen as evil (it doesn´t mean they are) but in my opinion not everybody is called to work with them. -

ps...so u can clear your head on this...i've never used them to...but i do feel as a spiritaul person that has worked with diffrent spirits b-4...one that dont know should not call on them...as 4 me..i have more control(wink)...;-) .....im Madre engaga...i know how to work those types of spirits...but as you stated...or better stated..those that are not use to working with spirits head up should not try calling on those. -
