A friend told me the evil monkey that occasionally appears on Family Guy originated on the Simpsons. I don't recall this. Anyone know if it's true? If so, what episode?

Thu, April 17, 2008 - 11:16 AMIm not familiar with the Family Guy monkey but the Simpsons have the Halloween ep wish-granting Monkeys Paw, Mojo the Helper Monkey, & this excerpt from Lady Bouviea's(sp) Lover:
"Mel conducts a dozen monkeys on kazoos playing a Strauss waltz, but one of the monkeys stops. Mel's baton-poking prompts the monkey to lunge for his throat. A prone Mel shrieks as the other monkeys join in." -

Thu, April 17, 2008 - 11:26 AMNot to mention Mr. Cheney. Of course it could be one of the monkeys that beat him up in the jungle.
Can we stil say jungle? The Simpsons can, of course. -

Re: Evil Monkey?
Thu, April 17, 2008 - 12:20 PMthere's the time marge discovers long island ice teas, goes on-stage drunk as the volunteer assisstant to the magician. after the disappearing trick, she reappears inside the large banana side-stage and all the monkeys attack her, pulling out and throwing chunks of her hair. -
