I am a recent Saab convert. I haven't bought a car in 13 years and then I decided that having passive restraint belts was not the latest in technology.
I test drove the BMW 3 Series and didn't like the trunk situation--then I tried the Jetta and didn't like the way it shifted. My Mom suggested trying the Saab and I fell for it! Everyone rags on the small cabin but I'm small and it's no problem. Plus my sales guy was six foot three and he didn't have a problem driving it.
I drove it to SF from Tucson and found it so much fun. I arrived within ten minutes of the time the car had projected.
Now the only drag is that I read in USA Today that new Saab owners would receive free lift tickets to Crested Butte. My dealer is pretending not to notice!
Does anyone out there have more info?
