My costumes get more and more complex each year. I'm ready to move onto more structural elements.
Steampunk is such a great look for stylish Victorian gothic and mechanical structures all in one costume.
I've been a bit awed by the cosplay world. There are some pretty amazing costuming wizards out there!
What I haven't found is much in the way of resources in order to get to that level of sophistication. Anyone have any good links on things like foam construction/casting, lightweight metal rigging or other mechanical looking constructs, plus all of the distressed finishing work done with airbrushes and other means.

As a side, i found this tidy little steampunk blog, Brass Goggles, that looks good if a little light weight. I love the make your own goggles post:
