Examples of half-mourning dress and submarine designs

I'm developing a character that is a pirate captain/madam of a bordello going through a period of half-mourning and I'd like to know more about the clothing and jewelry set aside for the half-mourning, plus any examples. (I'm very fond of style from mid-1870's to 1890's)
