I know I'm not the only one, but it seems that way sometimes! I've been thinking of seeing what I can do to get the steam train rolling more on this side of the country. Anyone wanna help me set up an Edwardian Ball? Help me build a Thunderdome?? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?...

Okay, this is lookin' pretty sad!!! =( So we'll have to fix this....

Thank you Bronwen for the tribes! They look awesome and are just going to give me a bigger drive to get my ass to the Philadelphia area! I did know about Dracula's Ball & Fairie Con, both of which are fantastic, but I'm thinkin' we need some more strictly steampunk inspired events.....

I'm really just starting out dabbling with steampunk, and I'm only 15, but I'm in CT.
And so far I've met no one who's into it nearby.
But, again, I'm young and only just getting into it.
And I probably shouldn't be looking for strangers...

im not exactly steampunk but it does add its own splash into my styles and those of my mates here in upstate (roch, buffalo, syracuse, toronto area - depending on the night and week) NY but we make our ways out all over the place if an event catches enough eyes. anyone else from the upstate area?

Philly here... I don't know if I qualify as Steampunk but the style certainly fascinates me. And actually i've been working on the design for a steampunk club recently... can't release details but soon Philly may have a steampunk club.
  • I'm in Syracuse, NY, for the next year at least. I've thought about Philly and comments on here make me think even more about it. Right now, I'm getting a Masters in Arts Journalism at SU. I've always been a closet Edwardian and freaked when I discovered steampunk last September. I'm currently writing a feature length magazine article about it. Drop me a line if you would be willing to chat.
