NAIAD DAIAD are North America's newest and greatest psychedelic electronic supergroup. Consisting of Brandon Maynard (Aquarium/The Malah, Greenville SC) and Cooper Howland (OpenSourceCode, NYC) NAIAD DAIAD adamantly refuse to recognise genre restrictions, rules, or recommendations about what music is supposed to sound like. Instead, we produce eclectic, freewheeling, effortlessly funky, outrageously danceable music. Equally suited to the chillout or the main stage, morning, noon or night, NAIAD DAIAD has been under construction for over a year, and is finally ready for your consumption! We truly hope that you are as hungry for some brand-new, all-orignal, wildly inventive music as we are to give it to you! The live show consists of two laptops, a guitar with MIDI pickups, microphones, electronic and organic percussion, hardware synthesizers and whatever else we can manage to drag out to the venue! Unprecedented Tibetan Protests Worldwide

Pro-Tibetan protests have occurred in record numbers across the world showing the Chinese Authority that they may be able to kill and suppress inside Tibet, but the people of the world are speaking ... Protesters in Boston, Vancouver, Toronto, Calgary, Ottawa, Germany, Italy, Mysore, New Delhi, Chennai, Buffalo, Chile, Vienna, Israel, Denmark, Lithuania, Norway, Chicago, Bangkok, Seoul, New York, Sydney, London, San Francisco, Minnesota, Barcelona, Munich, Belgium, Taiwan, Paris, and even a vigil was held in Beijing. Unprecedented numbers of peace marchers, hunger strikes, vigils and protests in front of Chinese Embassies worldwide is surely not what the Communist Chinese Government had intended when they made the decision to 'crackdown' on Tibetans. One report even states that Tibetan protesters were gunned down in broad daylight in the streets of Lhasa. The Israeli parliament held a discussion about "the Genocide in Tibet".

Maybe the world is asking China to have compassion if they want to have their 'precious' Olympic Games if you read in between the lines. Several top athletes have already threatened to boycott the games and Beijing can't even promise clean air for them! I hope for a quick end to the utter stupidity and arrogance of the Chinese Authority in regards to the complete brutalization of any sense of the term 'human rights' amidst this 'crackdown' on autonomy ...

For quite a while now we have been brewing this beautiful pot of soup, manifested through family, energy, vibes and happiness. Each artist, dj and creative loving soul adding their own amazing flavor to the broth, awaiting to satisfy even the most hungry of spirits. We are all the spices and tasty morsels that will make this collective gumbo a delicious treat. The pot will simmer. The pot will boil. And Everyone shall rejoice!!

It’s been a dream of ours to have Antix play for us and now it’s going to become a reality . First ever appearance in Los Angeles, Terrakroma and GreenSector are extremely excited to have Antix perform a live and dj set Saturday, November 17th 2007. If you havn’t seen the brothers Strom ever play live before, then you will be in for a real treat seeing one of the great old skoolers of Progg do there thang!! Not only are we lucky to have Antix play their live and dj set, but Bluetech will also perform one of his incredible, groovy and extremely psychedelic live sets in the Downtempo stage and also perform his newest project Evan Mark, really nice, groovy techy music. If you didn’t get to see Bluetech play at symbiosis this year, then you should definitely check out his music, and if you did see him, then you know what’s up!

Not only are we lucky to have Antix and Bluetech perform for everyone, we are blessed to have Kiva and Manny from Greensector, and Dai from Psytribe join in on the fun, who are respectively some of our favorite djs in progressive psychedelic and Downtempo in the west coast. And a super surprise appearance from Trevor Wyse (Greensector), one of the main staples in the California psy scene over the past 10 years who will also share some of his Downtempo magic, not to mention one of our favorite’s Treavor from Moontribe . Also of course our resident dj’s Armando, Gabriel and Andrew (Earthbag) who just simply love to love to play their diverse progressive sounds for everyone.

ANTIX

New Zealand brothers Barton and Hayden Strom aka Antix have been producing a sublimely deep minimal groove that has been rocking dance floors accross the globe far and wide. Iboga Records in Denmark got whiff of the Antix sound and promptly signed the two brothers who then produced their landmark debut album “Lull” in 2003 and a couple years later created there second gem of an album “Twin Coast Discovery” both became landmarks on the progressive scene with top notch reviews and support from leading Dj's and fans alike.
Shortly after, Twin Coast Discovery was re-rubbed by a selection of the finest dance floor hooligans and the remix album contains seven remarkable re-edits from the likes of progressive wonder duo D-Nox and Frank Beckers (Vapour, Polaroid), Fitalic (Bedrock) and label mates Freq, Phony Orphants, Sun Control Species, Ohrsten Nors as well a bonus track by the brothers under their alter ego Fiord.
The brothers are aiming to raise the bar even higher this year, with another Antix studio album titled “Wanderers” due in June. The boys always evolving, have taken their sound to the next level, keeping to their Antix roots of deep atmospheres, infectious bass and minimal grooves but this time with a hint of old skool flavor and unleashing a new level of production.

Bluetech

A classically trained pianist and master of the art of software production. Bluetech's love of the melodic and exquisite sense of sound design makes him one of the most ingenius producers today. Bluetech's sound emerges from his custom-built Reaktor instruments and software based synthesisers as a primordial electro-dub alchemy. While encompassing musical touches from different parts of the globe, he presents a total blend, crossing genres and borders.
Bluetech has created a label called Native State Records to release his own music and music from other artists who cross boundaries between ambient/chill and more idm/experimental sounds. Not content to stay at home, Bluetech has toured extensively and performed in Japan, UK, Germany, Spain, Italy, Croatia, France, Denmark, Mexico, United States, and Canada.
Bluetech has released two albums on Aleph Zero Records, an internationally acclaimed chill label run by recording artist Shulman, and is currently working on a third for release in 2008. Aleph Zero brought Bluetech's music to the attention of the international chill audience, and helped to launch his career worldwide through strong support and beautiful packaging. (aka Bluetech). A classically trained pianist and master of the art
of software production, Evan's love of the melodic and exquisite sense
of sound design makes him one of the most ingenious producers today.

Evan achieved international recognition and success with his downtempo/
chill-out project, Bluetech, making waves in the chill-out world with

full length albums on Aleph Zero Records and Waveform Records, as well
as starting his own imprint, Native State Records, and touring
internationally. A need to expand his sound led him to explore his
love for tech-house resulting in his latest album, "Emotional

Emmy Award-winning animator Mark Neumann,
and Jeff Weeks' Dodecahedral Universe,
a trippy 3D animated fly-through of geometric space.

Greg Farley has been involved in the psychedelic trance scene in Northern California for over 5 years. After several years of being a dj and event coordinator, he began to produce his own music in the summer of 2003. Assisted and influenced by San Francisco artists such as Quasar, Ocelot, the Nommos, Chromatone, and Penta. Mubali's music began appearing on various labels like Mistress of Evil Records, Geomagnetic TV, Trishula Records, Insomnia Recs, and Manic Dragon Recs. In March of 2006, Trishula Records released Mubali's debut full length titled "Cats at Play." His music style can be called nighttime, aggressive, psychedelic music, and this year he has been doing a lot of collaborations with many artists such as Naked Tourist, Highko, Arahat, Bodhisattva 13:20, and Electrypnose. Be prepared for his sonic onslaught and holographic textures.

The elves have been relentless in their insistence that this is something that needs to happen. That we are obligated to wake the sleepwalkers to the new dream that is unfolding all around them. This is a very exciting time in the history of our planet. They need to at least be informed that we are about to enter into a new relationship with the galactic community. 2012 will happen regardless. However, we are all responsible for our share of the work in waking the earthlings to their new place in the Universe.

Get ready to dance in the Bain-Mathieu to the sounds of the legendary duo TRANSWAVE. This group, now based in Ibiza, Spain is preparing a live and exclusive performance!

As an album, it captures and delivers what a new generation of dancefloor stompers are looking for; Combining deep trancey elements and hard hitting breaks with more delicate psychedelic meanderings, Cameron has created a style, that although describable in terms of what’s out there, is it’s own entity and is as fresh on the ears as I’m sure it will be on the dance floor this summer. In quantum mechanics a ‘tangent universe’ is an offshoot of an existing universe that grows from the energy of the primary universe and in formation becomes a separate universe in its own right… the appearance of a tangent universe has many implications however primarily and positively it offers change, revolution and reflection on the status quo… in musical terms this album does the same.
A talented freelance programmer and mastering engineer, Cameron is part of a new wave of artist/DJ’s producing psychedelic dance and dub music under a number of different guises. Alongside his solo and collaborative projects he has also racked up a lot of behind the scenes credits working with some of the biggest names in the mainstream American dance music community.
The extent of Cameron’s diverse musical experience is very much in evidence in this work, with elements from all quarters combining to create ‘The Tangent Universe’.
