With skyrocket gas /oil prices every seconds- flying or driving still a big dent in our pocketbook.
WAYS to SAVE $$$$ on your way to a out of town/states workshops.
CARPOOLING/RENT a VAN AND SPLIT the costs amongst dancers thats going.. DONT rent a hotel room,make it a R/T escapades.Bring a cooler full of FOODS/water etc.
a. TIPS for "economy" dance workshops outings;
Make a LIST. How do you guys DO IT?

    When you are booking a room to stay in, never call the 800 number for the company. They have an image to uphold and they will charge you a higher price than if you call the hotel direct. The hotel knows that it may have a lot of empty rooms and will take less to make something instead of nothing.

    You should know to check several travel agents about prices to fly. Most people think the sales automatically go to the agents, but they only have in their computers what they put in it. Different agencies specialize in different packages.
