Right, Im thinking it could be my blue eyes, but I am not an Opthalmologist. My eyes, it seems to me, are unusually sensitive. For example my eyes are really sensitive to recessed lighting. I have to squint or just close them all together after a while when Im in a room with said lighting. Is this common with other blue eyed people? Or am I just a blue eyed person who just has really sensitive eyes?

Re: There must be someone out there with this problem...!
Sat, July 12, 2008 - 11:43 PMI have to wear sunglasses all year around and any bright lights bother me.
However, I've found a more logical explanation than just blue eyes. Blue eyed folks are nearly all northern European (or descended from, and we're all related) and more often than not seem to be prone to certain physical problems, such as celiac syndrome and other allergies and autoimmune disorders - which, by no big surpise, are often accompanied by marked photosensitivity - eyes and skin.
Then again, it's sort of a chicken-egg thing. -
