Here's a tribe where SecondLife.com inhabitants can share their experience and expertise. The current issue of newsweek; the Oct 17th issue, in an article entitled, "How much for a Jetpack?" talks about a new FREE online community called, Second Life.

"... don't call it a game. Everything users create in this 3D world is theirs to sell or barter. Think of it as a 3-D eBay. A single mom in Medord OR, earns a high five figure income selling cybercloths. Second Life has become the nets fastest growing virtual world."

You can belong to up to 15 groups at one time, allowing you the freedom to meet many different people and form various social circles. Group members can take part in certain special privileges, including sharing land and money.
