and how do you think that having your venus in pisces effects that? our own lovely moderator once told me that my venus being in pisces is the only thing that makes me a likable human being.....i am aries with leo rising........ :)

I'm an aquarius, I am logical and process feelings quickly, and can easily be indifferent, with moon in leo, however I like being dramatic and intense, which requires emotion (or your faking it). I think the depth of emotion I feel and the ablity to see through people comes from venus in pisces, so for me I think it comes off as an unusual intensity and emotional charisma (attraction to my emotional state). I also carry my feelings on my face so I dont hide much, thats the feelings running over the calm mind...I think...perhaps, since I know nothing of astrology, perhaps the Aquarius pisces combo gives me the ability to talk like I know something with out having previous knowledge.
I also know in a few select areas I can be wishywashy to exacting degrees. -

Thu, December 15, 2005 - 8:09 AMi'm an aquarius as well in my sun sign, and my ascendant is cancer....although i have also a lot of virgo in my chart and libra and gemini...i have no fire signs..mostly air and earth and some water...i think that the venus in pisces makes us very dreamy in love...very romantic...maybe addictive love...the aquarius brings out the quirkinesses and the strange tastes that i've acquired...also the ability not to be stuck in a love rut....i think it's good the venus in pisces because our emotions in love flow like water....'tis a wet, juicy love, not dry/earthy, hot or airy, although depending what the other signs are in your chart....the fact that i have a lot of earth, might make me earthy a lot, which i enjoy to have both of my feet on the ground as well... -

Sun, December 18, 2005 - 1:01 PMPisces/Aries Cusp as sun sign (yay) and a Virgo moon. I definitely think my VIPness is the biggest challenge though, such a fluid way to love, and as other posts have expounded; it's not too easy to find egalitarian compatability with others here.
And my sun sign in pisces too? Such an idealist! With an aries flare to try and make it happen... And a virgo whine about the whole damn thing.

Considering that I am Aquarius on everything else, the pisces venus manifests with romantic idealism and dreamy escape. I am willing to take lots of risks when it comes to romance, and other people are always like "be objective!" which is something I'm working on.

mercury on the other hand stays within two signs, so a mercury in pisces would only occur for an aquarian, pisces, or aries...
but, back to venus :)
i'm not sure i've ever met a capricorn with venus in pisces, though i know they're out there...would be interesting to learn how that combo plays out... -

Sun, April 30, 2006 - 7:55 AMThat's why I said probably. If you are say a sun sign in Capricorn on the Aquarius cusp, maybe you could have Venus in Pisces. But a Capricorn closer to Sagitarus...It doesn't happen. 48 degrees is about a sign and a half. Mercury is something around 28 degrees but I don't know exact. I do have a friend who is sun sign Pisces with Venus in Taurus but Venus is in the begining of Taurus and his sun is close to the end of Pisces.

Each sign has so many facets, strong points and of course negative points.
I've found neg. sides of pisces to be ...
gullible, daydreamers, unrealistic about love, liers (mostly because they never want to hurt someone, so they'll lie instead of tell the brutal truth)..hmmm..what esle..elaborate, introverted, loners, hopelessly romantic, and can often invest time and energy into people that are not worth it.
Of course there are always the good points, compassion, caring, dreamy (pretty much neautral), romantic, sentimental, thoughtful, considerate, and poetic.
So..point is, if someone says this is the only thing that makes you a likable person...they need to have their head checked.
I'd bet that most of your awesome personality qualities come from all that fire!! -

Pisces is also a mutable sign which indicates duality making the combination of opposite extremes very present.

I've read here that we're 'suck-ers for love' but what suck-eth in that translation is that as an Aqua, I don't know that I feel that way. I do recall meeting someone not too long ago and laying in bed that night feeling what *being in love* feels like and it was nice to remember, but at the same time knowing that the feeling will pass because I've idealized that person. I can look at love in a detached manner. I am very romantic and dreamy. I love being in love. I just haven't been much oof a sucker.

The Aquarian side keeps me grounded and logical. I rule with my brain and not my heart. But the Venus in Pisces gives me rich fantasies and yes, I want the romantic fairytale! I find it really easy to love people; however I'm rational enough not to jump into anything until I've observed the other person for quite a while. I'm the one who makes a mental list of the Pro's and Con's in a relationship before I commit. Being cautious has saved me from quite a few messes. But darn I'm a hopeless romantic. I love lavishing attention on my partner, and although I give them plenty of freedom and space, I secretly am obsessing about them on the inside. :o) I like how the Aquarian side can make me "appear" detached when I'm really ready to pounce on my partner. heh heh

There are some hard aspects and positions in my chart that make me very uneasy meeting new people (especially girls *blush*). I guess my trust has to be earned before i really open to anyone. And that takes time...

I'm an aries (sun) with a pisces rising, venus in pisces, gemini in mars, and a scorpio in moon, I'm basically what you would call strange. Anyway i always felt different and then when I saw my sign placements it made sense to me finally. I mean with my scorpio placement in moon and my pisces in venus and my ascendant, no wonder I was a more quiet reflective aries and humble in mind and soul. I think its true what they say when you have venus in pisces, but also we are the rare exception in compare to most. WE can see what most can't: truth. We can know it, sense it, and even see it coming before it comes, kind of like our own 8 ball in our instincts. I think with a venus in pisces we are more compassionate towards people that most people wouldn't even think twice about being nice too. -

It's a frustrating position for someone who likes to be in control to realize that your emotional side is operating without your express permission, but when I let myself go with the flow of my Venus in Pisces intuitions, very very good things happen. I like having the unshakable outer shell of the Cap sun with Aqua moon....not too many people realize what a softy I am! My current boyfriend has VIP as well, and together we are like two soft, gooey, gummy bears happily basking in each other's mutual awesomeness. On the flip side, I do tend to bring home strays, and if I'm not careful, my instant compassion and trust leads me out into strange territory like a dog cut from a leash. Still, I am glad for my dreaminess and thankful I didn't get stuck with Cap in Venus as well.

Wed, January 14, 2009 - 11:25 PMI have a Aries Sun and Mercury, Capricorn Moon, Scorpio Ascendant (conjunct Pluto) and of course Venus in Pisces. I want to speak up my mind and lead, and at the same time I want to go with the flow and analyze. I have a lot of fire to let out, but I freak out everytime I do let anything out. It's quite insane really. But I'm working on it. :)
Kind of what you said goes for me also. In my case, if it wasn't for my Venus in Pisces, I would probably be a criminal mastermind, or serial killer, or something like that. One thing you could say about Venus in Pisces is that they can't hurt a fly, not even verbally.

For me, I think being in this position, I always so readily able to empathize other's feelings, even when subconciously. In my experience, I've 'closed' my heart on affairs of the heart. I think it's also a Pisces Sun thing that I want to avoid being hurt, so I'm hiding to protect myself. However, how much I want to convince myself that I don't need to love and to be loved, my inner self cannot hide the fact that I do want to be loved and to love. I think this may sound complicated but this is exactly how I feel. Perhaps this shows Gemini Rising in me. Also, for venus in pisces, it is true I'm a dreamy person who occasionally dream of the ideal partner, although the practical side of me keeps reminding me of the reality. I often find myself struggle between the fantasy that I've created to feel content and the cold harsh reality.
Friends often say I'm a good listener. Honestly, I feel bogged down when there's too much of complains, woes and whatnots. I've learnt to tear myself from such situations as well as people who tend to be more depressing to be with. -

as for my personality.i dunno,im 0.09 degrees pisces,so im greatly influenced by aquarius.virgo rising(also on the cusp with libra apparently,as with all my other houses are on cusps) aries moon,pisces venus and aqua mercury.ive also got alot of capricorn energy later on in my chart
to make it worse im soul urge 11 and personality 33.i find im constantly puzzled about life,trying to find answers to whatever i can,sometimes even driving myself crazy with all the indepth thinking that is sometimes to much to grasp at this stage.
my mindset alternates frequently,sometimes very watery,but i dont like it too much when im like that,apart from the fact that i can connect very easily with almost anybody,i pick up general vibes very easily.wich can be a downside at times of course.it used to mess me up a fair bit when i was younger,but these says im finding alot more self identity,and actualy starting to realize which energys are my own,and i think thanks to my Aries moon ,am quite independent and self assured deep down.
its a crazy mix at times haha,but i love it -
