Re: Sidereal Venus in Pisces
Tue, October 27, 2009 - 10:18 AMI am an astrologer and for years I thought according to my tropical training that I was a sun sign Taurus and a Venus in Aries, I never resonated with any of those placements and used to get teased in classes as I would denounce them and readily embrace my sagittarius ascendent. I got a reading from a Indian astrologer and realized that my real placements were a Sun sign in Aries with Mercury and venus in Pisces.
Those sidereal placements speak volumes and so much truth about who I am. I only do sidereal readings for clients, have gone and redid readings for tropical clients and have had amazing results, life changing and profound.
I will never go back to tropical again!
I embrace my venus in Pisces and am seeking to understand more bout my nature with these two placements.
Nice to be here as I am new to the community.
The opening statement is so true about how I view love and relating (on the intro page to this page)
Kudos.

Re: Sidereal Venus in Pisces
Wed, October 28, 2009 - 8:47 AMI totally relate - a lifetime of tropical astrology told me that I am an Aries with Aries rising, and Venus in Aries. In fact, my Sun Venus and Mercury are in a stellium - that stellium in Aries, with Aries rising, should have been by far the dominant feature of my chart and my personality, but it simply is not. Much of the remainder of my chart seemed to work well, but not that most dominant feature.
I recently 'discovered' sidereal astrology and found that my Sun-Venus-Mercury stellium is in Pisces, with Aries rising. This fits me far, far better. As for the rest of the chart - due to a timing oddity of my natal chart, moving from tropical to sidereal changed only about half of my placements of planets and houses into different signs. So it makes sense that some of my chart under tropical matches the sidereal chart.
