So many members in this group, but so few are men! Why is that? (grin)
I have more than "just" Venus in Pisces - Pisces is also my Sun sign. In fact, I have a Venus-Sun-Mercury conjunction in Pisces. On top of that, this Pisces conjunction is my twelfth house, which under the traditional house system is ruled by Venus.
So, a question - as a man with a very powerful Venus in my chart - what does that mean for me? Especially you other guys here in the group - what are your observations?

Re: looking for feedback from other men with Venus in Pisces
Thu, October 8, 2009 - 2:27 PMI know you want to hear from men (but I'm a girl obviously lol)... but I just wanted to say that I'm also a Pisces Sun, Mercury, and Venus like you, with my Pisces Sun in my twelfth house (also Pisces) :) -

Re: looking for feedback from other men with Venus in Pisces
Thu, October 8, 2009 - 2:37 PMHey there Heather -
So what does this mean from an astrological perspective, having a Sun-Mercury-Venus stellium in a location where Venus is exalted by sign and is the house ruler?
LOL and yes, I am hoping to get some insights as to what this means in terms of me being a man with this configuration. My Mars is in Leo and is part of a Mars-Uranus-Pluto stellium that normally would be very powerful - but that particular stellium is quincunx the Sun-based stellium in Pisces, which indicates friction between the two.
If I were a woman, that would be easier to understand and work with - but as a man, with an "inhibited" Mars and an exalted Venus - and my Sun in a water-based sign - how would you interpret that?

Re: looking for feedback from other men with Venus in Pisces
Wed, October 21, 2009 - 11:58 AMMyself, I have Sun, and Venus in Pisces and born 15 minutes before full moon. I see myself as a man from a planet of women. In todays age the aggressive masculine man is portrayed as the superior arcetype but the evolution of the human hominid is towards a Venusuan (english is not my language) harmonius creature. Having anything to do with Venus is a greatly superior influence. It means you are in the top 90% for evolving into higher cosciousness. The feminine man has been portrayed as inferior (look at american football!) but is actually the most apt to become the leadership of the New Rainbow Nation which will be solidifying after this winter. -

I have venus in pisces, I played football and I was very good at it. There is a stereotype tagged to athletes in general that doesn't quite fit the bill all of the time. You have to have a will of iron to play highly competetive sports and you have to have control over your emotions. While I have my soft spots for nature, animals and truly beautiful women .......I am no shrinking violet,to say the least.
I think the overly feminine man has been portrayed as inferior because, lets face it, in the world we live in you have to have the will to survive and do what you need to when you need to. Excessively "feminine" men can be pushovers and this can lead to all kinds of problems with the hippie "make love, not war" outlook.
I sincerely hope that one day humanity will evolve into a much more balanced and wise life force as a whole
But personally I believe in making love AND war -

I'm like you - more "butch" and less feminine. I'm ex-military, weightlifter, good at sports, etc. - not a guy that most others tend to label or pigeonhole as "femme" in any shape or form.
The impression I get is that this is more an issue of "balance." Also like you, I have a soft spot for nature and animals (although I go more for studly men rather than beautiful women - wink!). I also play classical piano and have a strong appreciation for the fine arts. (Although I'm not one to do floral arranging or pick out curtains.)
Maybe that's the effect of an exalted Venus in her native house with the Sun to empower her further - adding an extra dimension to my masculine, military, rigid and controlled "jock" side, balancing the masculine and feminine aspects of my personality.
It would be tempting to assume that having an exalted Venus in her native house and a negatively aspected Pluto might "make" me gay. Personally, I don't think so. I'm sure there are heterosexual men with a similar arrangement in their natal chart.
