Anyone using it?

I've created a profile but haven't taken the time to really explore what it's about.

In a nutshell I'd say it's the Short Attention Span Theater of blogging.

I've been using it with a group of friends since January. I think it is useful in a limited sense that if you just use it among a handful of people that you actually keep updated with, it's great. If you flood it with updates from a jillion users, it's just another source of noise.

Plus, I don't really care about what most people had for breakfast. If I did, I'd read their inane blogs. :P

Not using - as Edubya said - who cares what people had for breakfast...
Even with people you know it isn't really that interesting what brand of cornflakes they ate.

For a more graphical representation of the global twitter activity see twittervision.com/ - it is actually bizarrely mesmerizing...

      Or even better: flickrvision.com/

      A cool waste of time...

I've taken up twittering/tweeting again recently.
I see it as a way to stay in touch with friends without text-ing them directly

I also add some people from another places to let me see the happening from around the globe.

wow. using it for business meetings at this point and talking hash tags for twitter search, If it stays at this level, or grows... the way they could monetize their search enginge like google would be a bigger threat to google than the other engines.
