Am I the only person who feels like I am constantly getting scammed?
I get charged $80 for clothes that cost $2 to make.
Most appliances are built to break down and replacing part costs just as much to rebuild.
I pay $9 for a movie then have to pay $4.00 for a $1.00 soda and then have to sit through advertisements and product placements.
Where I live, the water tastes so bad that most people pay a minimum of $.25 cents a gallon for decent water.
Most magazines are not only crammed with ads, but most of the articles are advertisements.
In many "shopping districts" I can find lots of places that will take my money, but very few that "have" restrooms.
Malls are designed to disorient me and induce me to spend more money than I would otherwise.
Grocery stores are designed to try influence to spend more money than I would otherwise.
Bank interest on savings accounts are much lower than their interest on credit cards.
At festivals that already cost money to get into, I am charged higher prices for food and drink.
I get charged more for certain goods and services simply because I am a "member of the public" than I would if I were for instance--an interior decorator.
Restaurants charge more when I order "extra" on my x, but rarely charge less when I order less.

Is it just me?
