This is a shameless call for dance community support here!
I managed to convince the owner and an event organizer at Cafe Europe to get a try for a Tribal show on wednesday night (at 10:00)...If the event goes well, the show will turn into a weekly event, which means I will be needing more people besides myself to perform there on Tribal, we all gain a venue for the art-form, Houston gets exposed to Tribal, etc...Not only that, the organizer asked me for Tribal troupes (I made him watch stuff on the net) to perform at concerts he sponsors...so I though this is a very good opportunity for all the Tribal lovers to unite forces and start building foundations for professional Tribal shows in this our city...
The show will begin at 10:00 (ish...) at it will last around 25 minutes.
Cafe Europe is located in Westheimer and Fountainview, and it is a very cool venue...and there is NO COVER CHARGE.
The dancer (me) is shaking with a mix of fear and excitement...
