Tue, March 13, 2007 - 7:01 PMCool. That particular performance really shows Jimi wrote this song as a tribute to Bob Dylan, not only the song structure but especially this one's vocals. We're all familiar with the Dylan "cover" All Along the Watchtower.. and some have heard Jimi's cover of Drifter's Escape. -

Anyone ever heard him do a cover of it? It really is perfect for him. Though "Castles Made of Sand" has a very similar vibe, it hasn't nearly as much Dylan edge to its vocals. You think? -

Also,if you look closely you'll notice that Jimi's Marshall stack is facing inwards towards Mitch Mitchell.
