seed/plants for work exchange

Greetings,
I am looking to turn my lawn into food and am at a loss for supplies and experience I would love to find someone in N/NE Portland who has a garden and would like some help getting it in order for spring in exchange for some seeds and plants. I have a day a week to donate to this endeavor.
