    Yes.

Of course, it would help if they had some oil.

I'm not tryng to be funny. If they had oil, we'd already be "helping" them.

But of course, we're too busy trying to maintain a stranglehold on Iraq to do anything about a humanitarian crisis where children are being forced into military service and raped, families chopped down, whole villages destroyed, after all, that would be "nation building".

Call it pessimism. I have absolutely no faith in Bush to see past the wallets of his friends. Darfur has been a disaster for years. Instead of being concerned, he went on vacations and campaigned.

Good point there JL. I think all politicians should rescind their right to vacations, as well as campaigning for office, even though it is one of the most emotionally draining jobs in the world. Just look at Slick Willy's greying over the years.

Give them two weeks, like every other entry level wage slave.

Bush spent more time on vacation than the last three administrations combined.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say we should *gasp* protect the weak. Contrary to fighting only when our security is threatened, but we're supposed to stand by while geonocide goes on? Didn't we do that once before? Didn't we swear to never do it again? Oh, silly me, those were Europeans. So, after this round of slaughter wraps up, we can swear never to stand by again.....for African geonocide. Sounds reasonable.

    Rick....admit it.....you want JL.
