if it's fruit pulp we make leathers....that is, if my kids don't eat it all before I can get it into the dehydrator!

yeah what's up with kids loving the pulp/fiber???
when I was little, my grandpa used to juice mostly veggies, and my brother and I would fight over the pulp, tho we both thought the jiuce was gross (of course know I KNOW the juice was gross since he juiced the strangest combos of stuff but...;)

muffins, salsa, on top of salads, in tomato sauce, soups... I'm looking for more stuff to do with it too. I live in a city setting, I am looking for a good way to compost in a small area with neighbors close by... any ideas? I've thought about the worm composting, although I heard it is offensive to the olfactories...

i mix carrot pulp in with my cats food to add fiber to his diet, he loves it.

    Pulp:
1- add to soaked flax & make dehydrated crackers
2- add to puppy food- ours loves it!
3- add to any pate' for more fiber
    4- compost
    5- add to blender drink

    Happy juicing- Happy Life!

other ways to use the pulp from juicing. i feel it is a sin ;)to just toss away the good leftovers from veggies and fruits so i am kinda making stuff up and if its good i send it in to share.
here are my two recent additions.
(if they are duplicates of somebody else, forgive me)
    #1 veggy meatloaf casserole
i mixed together hamburger, beaten eggs, crumbled crackers, seasonings and my pouch of parsley, celery, carrots, beets, cabbage and apple pulp. you can layer cooked meatloaf, green beans, topped with mashed potatoes. Variations; add cheese, peas, sour cream. very yummy
    #2 fruity coffee cake
in a 9x12 casserole dish i layered my pouch of papaya, mango, peach, and pineapple pulp then spread a simple coffee cake recipe batter over the top sealing in the edges, topped with the crumbly topping and nuts and baked. this taste like a peach cobbler. hope you enjoy

You could use the vegetable pulp for making vegie burgers, for the vegie meat in raw tacos, lasagna, crackers, fruit pulp for fruit roll ups smoothies, and lots of other things..

For cooked food.. pulp can be used in breads, cakes, pies, soups, muffins, and things like this.. Carrot pulp is excellent for making carrot cake, muffins and anything else carroty.. LOL The pulp definitly enhances the carrot flavor..
