Re: What are your favorite Juice combos?
Fri, June 1, 2007 - 12:27 AMRight now I'm doing the classic carot and beet combo......half the time I add a bit of burdock root because it's good for the kidneys and liver and my dad needs to strengthen his kidneys....the burdock doesn't taste that great though....
Hopefully someone'll post some good combos I'd love to try something new..... :-)
Peace,
Jonah -

Wed, June 6, 2007 - 5:38 AMohhh.. I like that one.
I sometimes like just carrots and orange...sounds weird but tastes great.
I often make my own spicy v8...very similar to this one but I add chillies and tomatoes and do not have beets. -

Re: What are your favorite Juice combos?
Wed, June 13, 2007 - 8:13 PMI dont have a juicer (yet....working on it).....so Im using my blender/food processor
my brother and I have concocted a juice we use to reinvigorate ourselves if we are tired, or for a hangover, for an illness, for centerdness and balance, et cetera..
ginger, cayenne (fresh chiles mentioned earlier sounds better, though), lemon/lime/orange (either one, or a combination.....whatever you have), local (raw) honey, garlic, and maybe a pinch of kosher (or sea) salt......different amounts of ginger, cayenne (chiles), and garlic determine the strength and "burn" of the drink....guess that last bit is pretty obvious -

Re: What are your favorite Juice combos?
Wed, June 13, 2007 - 8:21 PMBefore I was on coumadin I used to love beets, kale and cabbage mixed with other things. Very healthy.
Now I do the same things alot. I combine carrots, apples, lemon, lime, and sometimes add other things like strawberries or cucumbers.
Has anyone juiced a potato before? Is that good for you? -

Re: What are your favorite Juice combos?
Wed, June 13, 2007 - 11:33 PMhaha, yea Marvin, I was wondering that earlier.....in between hits off the bubbler
would juiced potato be a good way to get starch? -

Re: What are your favorite Juice combos?
Thu, June 14, 2007 - 6:40 AMMy favorite right now is Pineapple (skin on), lemon (peel on), and mineral water. Very refreshing!
Potatoes juiced will give you lots of starch and lysine, but mix them with something tastey...

Re: What are your favorite Juice combos?
Sun, October 14, 2007 - 7:00 AMI like juicing mushrooms, beets, carrots, spinich, garlic, apple and asparagus together. It tastes a little funky but well worth the health benefits.

Re: What are your favorite Juice combos?
Mon, February 18, 2008 - 6:21 AMI just made some Apple, grape and beet juice yesterday. YUM!! A little sweet but the beet balanced it out quite nicely. I love beets but I try not to use them too much as I have heard this can be a bad thing.

Re: What are your favorite Juice combos?
Thu, January 8, 2009 - 10:22 AMYay! I just joined this tribe and I'm getting a juicer in about a week when I get some $$$.
My friend had a "juice party" where there were like 3 juicers set up and everyone brought all kinds of fresh fruits and veggies, and made a bunch of different combos, some with liquors. :)
The one that hooked me was rubarb, green apple, and cucumber. It was super sour, tart and sweet, although the cucumber mellowed it a bit!! Probably not all the nutritional value in the world, but it was like an orgasm in my mouth, it was so good!!!
I can't wait to get my juicer and start trying out all these great ideas!!! -
