Dr. G. always said that “One way or the other, we pay for our education” whether it be with tuition or experience or hard labour...but learn we will! Allen has quantum leaped into a post-grad training that will impact the rest of his life and hopefully ours also. We can participate in that process in many ways. Frequent correspondence can be sent to:

For the first four weeks, visiting is one time per week. Visiting then expands to three times per week.
Check with the jail for specific times. Monies can be left all day except noon to 1 and 5:30-7 pm.
My heart is stretched full of rich memories and expectation. It has been an emotional roller coaster fair witnessing this process. Now I ask that we put watchmen of the walls of Allen's cell, that angels visit continuously, that a sweet fragrance fill his nostrils, that his person, tongue and his sweet heart be guarded!, that he find favor, like Joseph in Pharaoh's dungeon, with the guards and staff. Please join in.
It is not my desire to tell you how to pray but to ask that we support and protect our brother with daily prayer. Ask for mercy and provision. Petition that legal maneuvering accomplish a good end. Ask that doors open miraculously that will fill his time with purpose and excitement.
I am available as needed. Avvy's separation will not extinguish my love but cause it to grow stronger.
It is not 'llama drama' that I crave but truth and peace for all.
I think of the verse ...”We shall not, we shall not be moved. We shall not, we shall not be moved”.
Can we be that ..”tree standing by the water”? Our deep roots, solidarity, cooperation, 'clean hearts and hands' will propel us past this heavy hurdle.
Be blessed to strive without interruption towards that goal.
