So, yeah, any other parents on here that might want to get together for a play date? I have a very precocious 3.5 year old that needs some friends around her age and I am tired of going to parks where none of the parents talk to me because I have visible tattoos and wear black.

We no longer hit up the park behind second street though because it seems like some of the parents there don't give a sh*t about how their kids interact with others. Los Altos park has the nicest kids and adults by far, and even though its further from our apt. in the shore, we choose to cruise there. Say when... -

Thu, May 3, 2007 - 12:29 PMI have a 1 yo son who LOVES hanging around with the Big Kids. I live in the Los Altos area--where is Los Altos Park?
We end up often at the Nature Center, playing in the dirt and eating safe leaves (or playing with the leaves and eating dirt...).
Mother's Beach is fun, and has the advantage of having a 1) playground and 2) the beach when the playground doesnt hold enough interest. Water quality is consistently high, and no waves.
We'd love to hang out with you if you dont mind a youngster. Tats dont scare me... ;-)

Sat, May 5, 2007 - 6:43 PM\Mothers Beach is on Appian Way by Marine Stdum-past Colorado Lagoon. If you go, park on the street for free parking rather than feeding the meters in the lot. Not much frther to walk.
