Thu, May 8, 2008 - 6:13 AMmy hair tends to dread on its own if i let it. but i finally dreaded it myself about 7 months ago. my dreads seem to be an outward symbol of my beliefs not resonating with mainstream mentality. i love them and they allow me to be challenged by my own thoughts around the judgement from others in my area. I am not a die-hard rasta either, but i am in love with reggae for many reasons and this is probably my biggest influence to dread.
