Energy in your locks????

What do you guys think about energy being stored in your locks, when i first started my dreads i was very wild, and off the hook partying, i did the tour scene for a while and jumping around to all the festivals. Recently i decided that i wasn't being fulfilled by that lifestyle, so i started to change. Im very concious about what i put in my body, no drugs, no booze, no meat. im on a spiritual quest, and things are slowly getting better. My dreads are now 3 years old, and i dont want to cut them off, but i've heard people talk about negative energy being stored in them, what do you all think about that. I'm pretty set on keeping um, their just getting started:)

I recently got some scarves to wrap my dreads in, but am having problems making the wrap look right, no matter how my king and I try! Does anyone have any suggestions or links on how to wrap and make it look good? Any info would be much appreciated...Nuff Respect and Love to all....

I love my dreads. I've had them for 6 moths. I have an office job at a prestigious museum and it was hard keeping them under the radar at first. I usually pull my hair back in a pony tail or bun and add a few clips or a headband for fun. I want to let my hair down at work but I'm not sure how to do it and still be professional. I feel like its too fuzzy and unkempt looking. Any ideas or pics?

New dreads

I'm kind of worried- ok, paranoid that my new dreads are going to fall apart.
They're really delicate, as always with the first month. I have extremely fine straight white hair, and I really like the way my dreads look. I got them done yesterday, and the guy that did them rubberbanded them at the roots. I palm rolled, a lot. Today, when I woke up, I saw that the ends of some of them are split just a tiny little bit, and it scared me enough to rubberband the tips of each dread. Then I palmrolled and rewaxed. As if that's not enough, the local store has stopped carrying locking accelerator. So I don't have any. I'm not washing for a week, and I do have dry shampoo (no residue.) And I've palm rolled today. (Sorry for my sentence structure, I keep remembering to add things I forgot)
And I've been to just about every site and I've read that they can break easily. Great.

Can I sleep in a tam?

Also, do you think my dreads will stay together? They're knotted really well, but I just don't know.
I've been using proclaim beeswax. Help reassure me :P
