I was walking through some gas station and saw Pork Rinds.. my god I wanted to lick the bag something fierce.. I would have bought them and molested them.. viciously... except I had no funds.. so I had to dream about them... and fondle.... I'm pretty sure the gas station guy wanted me to leave after awhile....

so ,
i live here in the fashionable west end of asheville north carolina and as northcrolina would have it pride reared up anf offered free pork rinds today.
the local grocery,Ingles, well known for indigenous fare, took a hint from the ultra progressive earth fare( a closet whole foods just dying to out itself) and set a large sampling of flavored pork rinds to enjoy.
my favorite was the cinnamon sugar pork rinds. the coarse black pepper rinds were good too. vinegar and salt and b-b-q and lime and salt were there for the party. a five foot tall mountian of flavored rinds next to the fresh meats was the jewel of the store.
Go visit and devour till you're consumed with the shear pleasure of crunchy gluttony.
maybe we can campaign and request the ultimate pork rind
