Not sure if anyone's posted about this yet, but:

It's supposed to continue from where "Peacekeeper Wars" left off. Let's hope for greatness!

Re: New Farscape Comic
Tue, February 24, 2009 - 10:08 PMHaven't checked back in awhile. The first two issues are out - both great, they really have the old Farscape flavor! If you're not a comic person, I'm sure they'll collect the first storyline into a graphic novel before too long. -

Re: New Farscape Comic
Wed, February 25, 2009 - 9:51 PMI am reading Watchmen right now. I love comics it is just an expensive habit that I can't afford. My aunt has been collecting for 30 years and she usually buys 30-40 comics a month. I have checked out her collection of course with clean hands and never eating any food while reading :-) I get updates from the Save Farscape Campaign and they said there will be webisodes perhaps???

SAVE FARSCAPE (DIGEST 460)
This is the FAQ for the Save Farscape Announcements (SFA) list. It will be reposted once per month. Please stop by www.watchfarscape. com if you have questions about the show or the campaign. Email owner-savefarscapea nnouncements@ yahoogroups. com if you have questions about this list.
SHOW FAQ:
In an amazing development, Farscape is returning via SCIFI.com's Pulse as webisodes AND via BOOM! Studios as comics!
Farscape Webisodes: The deal was struck between the Jim Henson Company and SCIFI.com to bring it back initially for a 10 web-isode run, each of which will run approximately 3-6 minutes.
1. When will it air?
TBA
2. Where will it air?
US: It will run at SCIFI.com's Pulse.
Internationally: Unknown at this time, but announcements will be made as the time gets closer to its release.
3. Where else can I see Farscape?
Farscape, the television series, and Farscape: The Peacekeeper Wars are available on DVD and can be purchased from your local Best Buy, Walmart, other local or online retailers; rented from places like Netflix; or borrowed from Scaper friends. It may be tricky to find Season 1 of Farscape, the series, at this time due to a change in distribution at this time.
Farscape, seasons 1 and 2, are also available via ITunes for download. The full season (all 22-episodes) is available for $39.99 and individual episodes are available for $1.99.
Comics: BOOM! Studios and the Jim Henson Company announced on 4/18/08 that Boom! will publish a series of 4-issue mini-series that will explore and expand the Farscape universe, and will later be collected and printed in trade paperback editions.
When will they be released?
Later in 2008.
CAMPAIGN FAQ
1. So is the campaign over, then?
The band is getting back together again ;)
2. What can the fans do?
Talk up the show, buy the comics when they're released, rent or buy the dvds, download Farscape legally via ITunes, buy merchandise, and, most importantly, recruit new viewers (you can always refer them to our "introduction to Farscape" website - www.farwhat. com).
Donate some Farscape to your local libraries, to other libraries through the WatchFarscape. com Library Project, or to American soldiers through the WatchFarscape. com Military Project.
If you want more information on where to find Farscape or to see what other fans are doing to help out, please stop by www.watchfarscape. com for links to ongoing projects and brainstorming of new ones.
LIST FAQ
1. What can I post to the SFA list?
Announcements of major campaign actions which need to be publicized, major campaign news, and Farscape-related releases. NOT suggestions for strategy. NOT questions for campaign coordinators, or Farscape or Sci-Fi staff. This is not a brainstorming or discussion list; it is purely for announcements.
2. How do I post to the SFA list?
You send a message to SaveFarscapeAnnounc ements@yahoogrou ps.com. The SFA list owners will approve your message if it's appropriate for the list. All messages posted to the list are also archived at the SFA page on YahooGroups.
3. Where should I send suggestions and questions about saving Farscape, if not to the SFA?
There are many public forums for discussion of campaign strategy, including: SaveFarscape. com/WatchFarscap e.com's Frell Me Dead Community (www.watchfar scape.com/ forums), SaveFarscape Canada (www.savefars capecanada. com), the Dominion Board (http://mboard. scifi.com/ postlist. php?Cat=& Board=Farscape), and the TerraFirma community (www.terrafir mascapers. com).
Thank you for your patience.
