Lots, we hope!!!

We had actually planned to do a big party this year in the North during February, as a pre-MahaShivratri party - but there were too many problems in organising the party. We were warned by our family there that the party would surely be busted by authorities; there would be no way to ensure everyone's safety. Because such a party is a huge undertaking, involving months of prep, investment, and good energy - we decided we could not take that risk. After the Pune bust last year, and many smaller incidents since then, we are extra careful and aware of these risks. Nobody should have their life and freedom put in jeopardy because of their attendance at a celebration....!!!

When we realised no festival would be possible this year, we found a smaller venue in Goa for a party in mid-february. We were waiting til all the details were sorted to announce that party. Then, several weeks ago - that place was busted by cops! It's a legal space but apparently the owner has been having some difficulties with the authorities lately. So, again - we felt it was better to put off the party for this year.

Vish and I will be in Goa by about Feb 10th and we will hope to organise a more private party for our close friends and family ..... Harish, we'll obviously be in touch with you personally ;-) and hope to see you there!

We are also working on a big, legal event for the near future in India and we'll keep you posted on that for sure!!! In the meantime, we'll keep working on ways to spread the joy and vibe but with safety and security, keeping in mind the limitations of our new authoritarian era here on earth. After the incident at our party in NYC last weekend, we are aLL the more careful!!
