I got an idea. We look up manufacturers of cool stuff and then go on craig’s list for that area and place a want/barter ad, telling people what you want and where they can go dumpster diving to maybe find it. For example, I can get about as much soap as anyone might want. I imagine others could find similar situations, and use the stuff to barter for stuff they don’t have access to. How to word the ad might be tricky, but I don’t think there would be any legal issues. It seems like big manufacturers usually have fenced-in lots, so smaller manufacturers might be the better search. Your thoughts?
