  i hit a bighorn sheep once. but at least i didn't have my bike totalled.
  
  i think the lesson here is, we need to ban animals on the roadways.

  One of my friends that I was riding with hit a baby baby (with spots) deer.
  It was so sad.
  Luckily, he was on a big ol' Ultra Classic with a huge fender. The fender folded back up on his wheel. But he was fine, didn't go down or anything.
  I was so thankful he hit it and not me, because if it would have been me, I would have been TOAST!
  
  p.s. unfortunatley the baby deer did not survive. :-(
